Manchester United are on a mission to reclaim the championship throne

Manchester United are on ‘Mission 21’ as they look to win a record 21st Premier League title within the next three years by scouting the world’s best young players.

Sir Dave Brailsford has revealed details of the push for staff to focus on developing top-performing players rather than paying big money for star players. The

former English cycling chief, who was brought in by co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Ineos after investing in the club last year, has been heavily involved in United’s strategy as they look to win the top-flight title for the first time since 2013.

Brailsford’s blueprint, developed in conjunction with James Morton, the club’s head of nutrition and performance, who he worked with at Team Sky, sees the club move away from a policy of throwing money at problems in the hope of finding an immediate solution.

Instead, the club’s focus will now be on buying young talent. And mold them into a key force as United look to end a decade without a trophy.

Brailsford has been working closely with technical director Jason Wilcox, who left the club after Dan Ashworth’s brief five-month stint as sporting director. คาสิโนออนไลน์ UFABET ฝากถอนรวดเร็ว เริ่มต้นเล่นง่าย Head coach Reuben Amorim has bought into

the plans and is now firmly in charge of the on-pitch operations, while Brailsford will oversee the club’s environment as they try to rebuild and work closely with Ratcliffe.

Mission 21 was presented to senior staff at Carrington late last year, alongside Mission 1, the plans for the women’s team which aims to win the club’s first Women’s Super League title.

Both missions fall under the larger Project 150 project, which was presented to staff by chief executive Omar Berrada and another signing from Ineos last autumn.

2028 is a significant year for the club, as it marks United’s 150th anniversary.
